What this extension does

BJJ Deal Finder is a browser extension that helps you find and apply coupon codes on bjjfanatics.com checkout pages. It can also optionally add an affiliate tracking parameter to your URL if you choose to support a content creator.

Data we collect

BJJ Deal Finder stores the following data locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in storage API:

• Extension settings - whether the extension is enabled or disabled.
• Coupon codes - the list of coupon codes to try, including any codes you add manually.
• Affiliate ID - the Refersion affiliate tracking ID you optionally enter in the popup settings.
• Last applied coupon - the most recently applied coupon code and savings amount, for display in the popup.

Data we do NOT collect

• We do not collect any personal information (name, email, address, etc.).
• We do not collect browsing history or web activity.
• We do not collect payment or financial information.
• We do not track your behavior or usage patterns.

Data transmission

BJJ Deal Finder does not send any data to external servers. All data stays in your browser's local storage.

The only network activity this extension causes is:

• Coupon code testing - when you click "Find Best Deal" on a checkout page, the extension submits coupon codes through the existing checkout form on bjjfanatics.com. This is the same as manually typing and submitting a code.
• Affiliate link activation - if you choose to activate an affiliate link, the extension adds a tracking parameter (rfsn) to the current page URL and reloads the page. This is only done when you explicitly click the "Activate" button.

Third-party sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer any user data to third parties.

Chrome sync storage

Your extension settings (enabled state, coupon codes, affiliate ID) are stored using chrome.storage.sync, which means they may sync across your Chrome browsers if you are signed into Chrome. This is a built-in Chrome feature and is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Permissions used

• storage - to save your preferences and coupon codes locally.
• activeTab - to show the extension badge icon when you visit bjjfanatics.com.
• Host access to bjjfanatics.com - to inject the coupon-finding functionality on checkout pages and the optional affiliate banner on other pages.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
